After-School Days LLC is a family affair.

Ann Brenoff wrote the popular Los Angeles Times’ Hot Property column (celebrity real estate) during her 18 years as a writer and editor at the paper. Her column and features were nationally syndicated. Her husband, Vic Johnson, was a Los Angeles Times editor for 30 years before his retirement. We call him Mr. Technology.

Sophie, 11, encouraged her mom to start a school paper in her school in Malibu, California, and her brother, Simon, 8, was our guinea pig (sorry, Simon) while we tested various Make-a-Book products.
